South Bristol, NY: Victims of Ontario County House Fire, Identified

Posted on Saturday, December 1st, 2018 at 6:41 am

South Bristol, NY (November 30, 2018) – The names of the two victims who tragically lost their lives in a house fire on Egypt Valley Road have now been released. The Monroe County Medical Examiner’s Office has identified the deceased parties as 74-year-old Vicky Todd and 68-year-old Pamela Osinski. According to officials, the two victims were sisters who lived together at the residence.

The fire was reported to have occurred at around 9:00 p.m. on Thursday night, November 29. Firefighters were called to the scene after a neighbor reported hearing explosions at the home. The location of the residence caused severe problems for firefighters attempting to bring in water to extinguish the flames, and the bodies of the victims weren’t found for three hours after the fire had started.

The home was entirely engulfed when Authorities arrived on the scene and several fire departments were brought in to battle the blaze. The cause of the fire is unknown at this time as investigators continue to analyze the events that led to the incident.
