Peru, NY (November 24, 2018) – In Peru, a woman suffered a serious head injury following a two-vehicle accident on Route 22. The woman was transported to the hospital immediately.
34-year-old Stacey Thomas was a passenger in a Ford Escape that was being driven by 41-year-old Robert Thomas of AuSable Forks. At the time, they had been driving south on the highway when they slowed to make a right turn onto Cross Street.
This is when a Nissan Maxima, driven by 19-year-old Marek Zuckerburg, rear-ended their vehicle. Marek claimed that the brake lines on the vehicle broke.
Stacey was immediately taken to the hospital for treatment of her injuries.
