Gates, NY (November 23, 2018) – On Wednesday afternoon, November 21, police responded to a call regarding a motor vehicle accident on Highway 31 in Gates. According to authorities, the accident which is believed to have involved no more than two vehicles and resulted in at least one injured victim was stated to have occurred at around 1:15 p.m.
Emergency medical personnel accompanied police to the scene of the collision that happened in the east and westbound direction of the highway at Karl Fuchs Drive. Emergency responders were able to verify the incurrence of injuries at the scene, however, the nature of wounds suffered has not been stated at this time.
It is currently unclear as to whether or not anyone involved in the crash required hospitalization for their wounds. No further information has been made available.
Police are likely to be involved in a detailed investigation into the cause of this incident.
