Carthage, NY (November 22, 2018) – Authorities have released the identity of the young man who was severely injured during a workplace accident at Ox Industries on Tuesday morning, November 20. 25-year-old, Camron J. Arnold, of Natural Bridge suffered serious leg injuries following an industrial accident that occurred at around 5:30 a.m. at his place of employment, located at 30 Champion Street in Carthage.
According to authorities, Arnold was working when a 2,500-pound roll of sheet metal fell off a forklift and crushed his legs. Arnold was promptly rushed to Upstate Medical Center in Syracuse for treatment of critical injuries. According to the latest information that has been made available, Arnold tragically lost a portion of his left leg, from his foot to the middle of his shin.
There have been no new details made available at this time as police are actively continuing their investigation into this incident.
