Fairport, NY (November 19, 2018) – Police responded to a call concerning a motor vehicle accident with injuries on Monday evening, November 19, on Whitney Road in Fairport. Authorities were reported to have arrived on the scene shortly after the collision occurred at around 5:20 p.m.
According to officials who were called to the scene, the crash took place between no more than two vehicles in both the east and westbound lanes of Whitney Road at Park Street. Dispatchers sent emergency medical crews as well as local police to the scene of the incident in an effort to assist any victims and assess the damages.
The accident was confirmed to have resulted in at least one injured party but there has been no word as to how many were involved in the accident. Police have made no mention of the events that led to this crash as it remains under investigation at this time.
