Parma, NY (November 18, 2018) – Police say that traffic was backed up for quite some time following a car accident that took place on West Ridge Road this morning, November 18.
Police responded to the incident, where they found that a 20-year-old female from Brockport had suffered an injury to her wrist. She was quickly taken to the hospital for treatment of her injuries. A 22-year-old male was also involved in the accident and was reportedly unharmed.
The accident caused one of the vehicles to crash into a utility pole, which closed down electricity service in the area for quite some time. Police continue to investigate the circumstances of the event, but have stated that they do not believe that drugs, alcohol, or speed played a role.
