Penfield, NY (November 16, 2018) – According to police, a motor vehicle accident that ended in injuries to at least one party was reported to have taken place on Atlantic Avenue, Friday morning, November 16. Police in Penfield stated that the collision which was believed to have involved no more than two vehicles occurred at approximately 10:41 a.m.
Authorities said that the accident took place in both the eastbound and westbound lanes of Atlantic Avenue at Scribner Road. Emergency medical personnel were immediately dispatched to the scene of the crash alongside police to assess the damages and assist any injured parties.
Injuries were confirmed by paramedics who responded to the crash, however, there has been no mention of whether or not any victims were transported to a hospital. Police have not verified the exact number of people involved in the crash.
No further details have been provided at this time as police are actively investigating the events that led to the incident.
