Geddes, NY (November 16, 2018) – The 22-year-old victim of a fatal crash that occurred Wednesday night, November 14, in a three-vehicle collision has been identified as Megan Sundberg, of Fulton. The accident was reported to have taken place at around 10:50 p.m. on Interstate 690 in Geddes.
According to the Onondaga County Sheriff’s Office, Sundberg had been traveling west along the interstate when she struck a guardrail and subsequently spun into the oncoming lane. Sunberg’s vehicle was then facing east when it was hit by another westbound vehicle. A third vehicle became involved in the crash as well.
Sundberg was immediately taken to Upstate University Hospital where she tragically succumbed to her injuries at approximately 7:00 a.m. Thursday morning, November 15. According to deputies, three people who were inside the other two vehicles involved suffered minor injuries as a result of the crash.
