Staten Island, NY (November 15, 2018) – An SUV was reported to have overturned following an accident on Thursday morning, November 15, according to local authorities. The FDNY reported the crash that sent one person to the hospital due to injuries that occurred after the accident at around 10:38 a.m.
Officials who arrived on the scene stated that the accident took place on Brighton Avenue in the vicinity of Glen Avenue. The victim was stated to have sustained serious injuries as paramedics along with police were called to the crash site.
Emergency medical personnel immediately transported the injured party to Richmond University Medical Center o be treated for serious injuries. No further information has been made available but the patient is expected to survive at this time.
There was no word stated as to whether or not there were any other victims involved in this accident. Police are likely to be engaged in an ongoing investigation into the events that led to the crash.
