Eden, NY (November 14, 2018) – On Wednesday afternoon, November 14, a head-on crash was reported on Jennings Road that tragically claimed the life of one victim. The fatal accident occurred in the town of Eden at around 4:20 p.m., according to local authorities.
Eden Police stated that a vehicle had been heading northbound on the aforementioned roadway when the driver crossed the center line. The vehicle subsequently collided with another vehicle that was traveling south on the same road.
The Eden Emergency Squad was called to the scene where the extricated one victim who had been pinned inside of their vehicle following the impact of the crash. The severely injured male victim was promptly airlifted to Erie County Medical Center via Mercy Flight.
According to police, the other driver was uninjured in the collision. No further details have been provided at this time.
Police are conducting a thorough investigation into the events that led to this incident at this time.
