Ithaca, NY (November 13, 2018) – On Tuesday afternoon, November 13, a serious motor vehicle accident was reported to have occurred at the intersection of Troy Road and East King Road. The vehicles involved in the crash were stated to have collided in a T-bone accident at approximately 3:50 p.m.
Tompkins County Dispatch reported the accident as they sent police along with Bangs Ambulance and the Ithaca Fire Department to the scene. Injuries were confirmed to have resulted from the accident as a helicopter was called in to airlift the victim or victims to a hospital.
The number of parties involved in the crash, however, has not been reported at this time. Likewise, the victims are believed to be in serious condition, although the extent of injuries has not been stated. No further information has been provided regarding the cause of the crash or any of those who were involved.
Authorities are likely to be conducting a thorough investigation into the events that led to this incident.
