Binghamton, NY (November 12, 2018) – A collision involving two vehicles was reported to have caused injuries to three people on Saturday evening, November 10, in Binghamton, according to police. The Binghamton Police Department reported the crash that occurred at approximately 5:15 p.m. when two vehicles collided at Robinson Street and Moeller Street.
Authorities stated that the motor vehicle collision took place for reasons that are not yet known, however, the impact of the crash left one of the vehicles involved embedded into a telephone pole. Police accompanied Binghamton Fire to the scene where three people were verified to have sustained injuries, although the extent of those injuries has not been mentioned at this time.
Traffic in the area was backed up for at least 90 minutes following the accident as police began their initial investigation. No further information has been provided in regards to the cause of the accident or the parties involved.
An investigation into the crash is ongoing at this time.
