Tyre, NY (November 11, 2018) – The Seneca County Sheriff’s Office responded to a serious personal injury tractor-trailer collision that ended with DWI charges. The accident happened on Friday, November 9.
At the time of the accident, a minivan struck a tractor-trailer on State Route 414 right by the local ramp. The truck was being operated by 38-year-old Grant Clark. At the time, Clark was traveling north on the roadway when the minivan failed to stop at a stop sign in the area.
The minivan was being operated by 41-year-old Daphne Dressing. Clark was checked at the scene and then transported to the hospital with a variety of injuries.
Dressing did not receive injuries. However, police were able to determine that she was intoxicated at the time of the accident and she was charged with DWI.
Both vehicles had to be towed from the scene.
