Sunset Park, NY (November 11, 2018) – Police say that one person was critically injured in a Sunset Park pedestrian accident that took place yesterday, November 10. The pedestrian was struck by a Camaro, which had windshield damage as the pedestrian was propelled onto the vehicle.
The man was struck on 39 Street and 3rd Avenue around 2:05 a.m. According to police who investigated the scene, they found that the 33-year-old pedestrian had been walking across the street when he was struck by the Camaro.
The victim was taken to the Lutheran Hospital in critical condition. At this time, we have no updates on his condition.
The driver remained at the scene and criminality is not suspected. Police continue to investigate.
