Westchester, NY (November 11, 2018) – Police say that a 61-year-old woman is in critical condition following a serious bicycle accident in Westchester on Wednesday, November 7.
The accident happened around 6:37 p.m. that evening when the woman, whose name has not yet been released, was attempting to cross Route 121 in Lewisboro when she was struck by a northbound car. The woman was immediately transported to the Westchester Medical Center where she has been listed in critical condition since Thursday.
The driver of the vehicle that struck her was also taken to the hospital to be evaluated. At this time, police continue to investigate the circumstances of the accident.
