Ronkonkoma, NY (November 11, 2018) – Three teenagers were ejected from their vehicle in an LIE accident that sent everybody to the hospital early this morning, November 11.
The accident took place around 2:45 a.m. this morning near exit 61 in Ronkonkoma. At the time, a 21-year-old man had been driving a 2015 Honda Civic eastbound when one of his tires blew out. His vehicle struck the guardrail, which caused it to overturn.
There were four passengers in the vehicle, one in the front and three in the back. The three in the back were ejected from the vehicle. Two hit the road and one flew off the side of the road.
All of the people involved in the accident were taken to the Stony Brook University Hospital for treatment of their injuries. They are all expected to survive.
