Rochester, NY (November 11, 2018) – A Monroe County pedestrian was struck by a vehicle and sent to the Strong Memorial Hospital on Friday night, November 9. The accident took place around 10:30 that night.
Police quickly responded to the area of Park Avenue and Alexander Street, where they found that a 26-year-old woman had been struck by a vehicle. The driver of the vehicle was identified as a 28-year-old woman from Rochester.
The pedestrian was taken to the hospital in critical condition. At this time, police do not believe that alcohol played a role in the accident and they have not released any names.
Police continue to investigate the accident.
