Henrietta, NY (November 10, 2018) – According to police, one woman from Pittsford was arrested after she was driving while intoxicated and caused a DWI accident in Henrietta. The accident took place last night, November 9.
Police say that the accident involving two vehicles occurred after the woman, 46-year-old Annie Dinardo, ran a red light. Dinardo had been driving southbound on Winton Road when she ran the red light at Jefferson Road.
Dinardo’s vehicle collided with a Dodge Caravan that was passing through a green light at the time. The driver of the van received head injuries and was transported to the Rochester General Hospital for treatment.
Dinardo was also taken to the hospital with neck pains and was later arrested for DWI.
At this time, we would like to take a moment to wish the injured driver thoughts and prayers as they recover following this traumatic and serious event. DWI accidents can be a frightening and complicated experience for anybody involved.
