Milton, NY (November 8, 2018) – A man from Milton was reported to have died in an accident that was possibly due to a defective or poorly made product when a vehicle slipped off the car jacks and pinned him beneath it, according to authorities. The accident happened on Thursday, November 8, at an unspecified time while the man was working on the vehicle.
The Saratoga County Sheriff’s Office responded to a call concerning an accident on Goode Road in Milton. Police stated that it appeared as though the victim had been working on a vehicle in a driveway off the aforementioned road when one of the car jacks weakened. The vehicle the man was under subsequently dropped its weight onto the victim.
Police along with emergency medical crews arrived on the scene and found the man dead from the impact of the accident. The identity of the deceased victim has not been released at this time in order to allow authorities to notify next of kin.
No further information has been provided as police are currently investigating the incident.
