Staten Island, NY (November 7, 2018) – Tuesday night, November 6, at least one person was reported to have sustained injuries during a motor vehicle accident in Willowbrook. The crash took place at around 5:30 p.m. after the injured party’s silver Mazda sedan ultimately ended up wrapped around a pole.
According to the FDNY, emergency medical personnel were called to the scene of the collision that occurred for reasons that are currently unknown. Responders arrived on the scene at the intersection of Watchogue Road and Willowbrook Road to assist the victim. The patient was quickly transported to Richmond University Medical Center in West Brighton to be treated for their injuries.
Authorities could not provide any further information in regards to the events that led to this accident. Furthermore, no information has been released pertaining to the victim or the extent of their injuries.
Police are actively investigating the cause of this incident.
