Staten Island, NY (November 6, 2018) – A motor vehicle collision between two vehicles was reported to have resulted in serious injuries on Tuesday morning, November 6. Authorities have stated that the crash took place at around 8:11 a.m. at the intersection of Woodrow Road and Winant Avenue.
Two people were reported to have suffered injuries in the crash, according to authorities. Emergency medical personnel who arrived in the scene immediately transported both victims to Staten Island University Hospital in Ocean Breeze. The patients’ conditions are considered serious at this time.
Both vehicles, a silver Cadillac SUV and a blue Mercedes sedan, were stated to have sustained severe damage during the crash as they were towed from the scene. Authorities went on to describe several small trees on the sidewalk along Woodrow Road as well as “no parking” signs that were damaged as a result of the accident.
No further information has been made available at this time as authorities are currently conducting a full investigation into this crash.
