Poughkeepsie, NY (November 5, 2018) – A motor vehicle accident between two cars was reported by authorities Monday morning, November 5, at an unspecified time. However, the crash that took place on the Mid-Hudson Bridge occurred in the rather early morning hours as lanes were beginning to reopen by 8:30 a.m., according to the New York State Bridge Authority.
Emergency crews were called to the scene to assess the damages and render aid to anyone who may have suffered any injuries as a result of the accident. There have been very few details released at this time, although injuries are believed to have been sustained by possibly at least one individual as the crash was large enough to close the bridge.
There has been no information provided pertaining to the events that led to the collision or whether or not anyone was hospitalized due to the impact.
