East Rochester, NY (November 5, 2018) – Police in East Rochester reported a motor vehicle collision believed to have involved at least two vehicles that occurred on Monday afternoon, November 5. According to authorities, the injurious crash was reported at around 3:40 p.m. on Whitney Road.
The accident was stated to have happened in both the eastbound and the westbound lanes of the roadway between Linden Avenue and Baird Road. Local police were immediately called to the scene of the accident along with emergency medical crews to assess the damages and assist anyone who may have suffered any injuries.
Paramedics were able to confirm the existence of injuries to at least one individual, however, there has been no mention as to whether or not anyone had been taken to the hospital. There has been no further information reported at this time.
Police are likely conducting a thorough investigation into the incident in order to determine the chain of events that caused the accident and establish liability.
