Utica, NY (November 4, 2018) – On Friday night, a man was struck by a vehicle in a serious pedestrian accident that took place in Utica around 6:40 p.m. Police say that the man had been walking on the 5-8-12 arterial at the time.
Police and emergency services quickly arrived at the scene to find that the man had been injured and the driver stayed at the scene. The man was transported to the hospital with serious injuries but he is expected to recover at this time.
The driver and the victim were not ticketed for the accident following the investigation. The investigation continues at this time.
