Oswego, NY (November 3, 2018) – On October 31 of this week around 7:43 a.m., one person was injured in a left-hand turn accident that happened in Oswego. These types of accidents take place every year due to the negligence of others who are not looking out for the well-being of others.
52-year-old Matthew Miniatt was operating a Hyundai driving south on Franklin Avenue when he attempted to make a left-hand turn. This caused his vehicle to collide with a 2011 Chevy traveling west. The vehicle had been operated by Brett Trainor.
Miniatt was transported by ambulance to the Oswego Hospital. He was issued a ticket for failing to yield the right-of-way.
Police continue to investigate the accident at this time.
