Medford, NY (November 4, 2018) – Police say that one person was injured in a bicycle accident that took place in Medford last night, November 3, around 7 p.m.
Police say that the individual was struck by a vehicle when they were biking on Horseblock Road. They were quickly transported to the Stony Brook University Hospital. As of now, they are listed in serious condition.
The driver and passenger in the vehicle that struck the bicyclist were not injured in the accident.
At this time, the Suffolk County Police detectives are investigating this incident. They are looking at the cause.
