Farmingville, NY (November 4, 2018) – In Farmingville, a special needs van carrying multiple passengers crashed on Friday night, November 2 around 7:30 p.m. Several people were injured, according to police who investigated the scene.
Police say that the van was struck by an SUV when it was driving around the intersection of Portion Road and Leeds Boulevard two nights ago. When emergency services arrived at the scene, they determined that multiple people were injured. Both drivers and four special needs adults were taken to the hospital.
At this time, all parties are expected to be okay. Police are still investigating the accident.
