Watertown, NY (November 1, 2018) – According to local authorities, a man was injured after being hit by a vehicle while he was crossing a roadway on Wednesday evening, October 31. The accident was reported to have occurred at an unspecified time in Watertown, as per statements made by police.
Emergency medical crews were called to the scene of the accident that took place when an unidentified man was walking across LeRay Street. The victim was reported to have been crossing the street when an unspecified vehicle struck the pedestrian for reasons that are currently unknown.
According to a city fire captain, Guilfoyle Ambulance Services were dispatched to the crash site where they transported the injured victim to Samaritan Medical Center. The victims’ injuries were ultimately classified as non-life-threatening, although no further information has been provided at this time.
Police are currently conducting an ongoing investigation into the events that led to this incident.
