Monroe, NY (October 25, 2018) – Police in Monroe have reported a traffic collision between at least two vehicles that led to unspecified injuries Thursday afternoon, October 25. The motor vehicle collision was reported to have taken place at approximately 3:25 p.m.
Authorities reported the accident that took place in the eastbound lane of Route 531 at Harek Road. Police along with local paramedics arrived at the scene to assist any injured victims as well as to evaluate the damages.
Emergency crews were able to confirm that injuries were sustained due to the impact of the accident, however, there has been no word as to the number of people involved. Likewise, neither the severity of injuries nor the cause of the collision has been confirmed at this time.
No further details have been provided, and authorities are likely to be involved in an investigation into the events that led to the incident.
