Elmira, NY – (October 23, 2018) – An accident was reported to have occurred when a Utility truck backed out of a driveway and collided with another vehicle on Monday, October 22. The accident took place at around 5:30 a.m.
According to local police, a woman from the city was driving along the 3300 block of West Fourth Street when she collided with the truck. Emergency medical professionals were quick to arrive on the scene in order to assist the injured party.
The sole victim had to be extricated from her vehicle and she was immediately transported to UPMC Susquehanna Williamsport Medical Center.
The female driver who seems to be responsible for the crash was only identified as a 20-year-old woman. There has been no more information provided at this time. Police are currently conducting a thorough investigation into this incident.
