Staten Island, NY (October 22, 2018) – A car was reported to have rolled over after being involved in a collision with a wedding limousine on Sunday, October 21. The accident took place in the Great Kills area of Staten Island at around 3:44 p.m. at the intersection of Amboy Road and Lindenwood Road.
According to authorities, one person was injured after their vehicle crashed into an unoccupied wedding limo and subsequently overturned. Emergency crews were called to the scene to assist the victim and right the vehicle.
The injured victim was immediately taken to Staten Island University Hospital in Ocean Breeze to be treated for their injuries. The current condition of the victim has not been not stated at this time.
Fortunately, no members of the wedding party that took the limo to the Coptic Orthodox Church of Archangel Michael and St. Mena located at 4095 Amboy Road where the accident occurred. No further information has been made available at this time, and authorities are actively conducting an investigation.
