Quogue, NY (October 16, 2018) – The third and final victim of the plane crash that occurred off the coast of Long Island on Saturday morning, October 13, has been identified. 53-year-old Richard Terbrusch, of Connecticut, was a high profile attorney who practiced divorce and family law out of Danbury before the fatal accident.
The twin-engine Piper PA-34 aircraft that was heading from Connecticut to South Carolina tragically plummeted into the waters off of Quogue for reasons that are currently unknown. Terbrusch was one of three people who sadly perished in the accident. Terbrusch was known for representing many clients including celebrities and he will be missed by many.
The other two victims were identified on different days earlier in the week. While all the victims have now been confirmed, the events that led to this accident remain under investigation by both the Federal Aviation Administration and the National Transportation Safety Board.
