Park Slope, NY (October 14, 2018) – In Park Slope, Brooklyn on Wednesday, October 10, one person was seriously injured in a pedestrian accident when they were suddenly struck by an Uber driver.
The accident took place around 1:30 in the morning. The Uber driver stayed at the scene of the accident until police arrived.
Police say that the pedestrian was critically injured and transported to the Methodist Hospital for treatment. The driver said that the pedestrian, who was a white male in his fifties, was running on the road at the time of the accident.
The investigation continues at this time, but no charges have yet been filed.
