New Hartford, NY (October 13, 2018) – Police say that two people were hospitalized following a car accident that took place in New Hartford on Thursday night, October 11. The New Hartford Police Department investigated the scene.
The accident happened around 10:45 p.m. when 21-year-old Katelyn Rycraft was driving on Oneida Street around the area of the Utica city line. Suddenly, her vehicle ran off the road and struck a utility pole.
Rycraft was seriously injured and so was her passenger, who was since identified as 24-year-old John Rivera.
The police are still investigating the incident.
