Schoharie, NY (October 9, 2018)– One of the many victims of the tragic Schoharie limo crash that claimed the lives of twenty people on Saturday, October 6, has been identified as Brian Hough. Hough was one of the two pedestrians who was sadly struck and killed during the deadly accident.
The accident occurred when a limousine carrying 18 people as part of a wedding party crashed at the intersection of Route 30 and Route 30A in Schoharie. According to Hough’s mother, the professor had been at the Apple Barrel Country Store along with his father-in-law, James Schnurr, when both men were tragically struck by the speeding limo and killed at the scene.
Hough was an assistant geology professor at SUNY Oswego, and he will be terribly missed by his wife and young son. The crash is under an ongoing investigation at this time.
