Rochester, NY: Accident on University Avenue Results in Injuries

Rochester, NY (October 5, 2018) – According to Rochester police, a car accident involving at least two vehicles was reported to have occurred on University Avenue on Friday afternoon, October 5. The collision which resulted in unknown injuries was stated to have taken place near Beecher Street at around 3:07 p.m.

Officials were called to the scene of an accident that happened in the eastbound and westbound lanes of University Avenue Friday afternoon, according to authorities. Emergency crews were dispatched to the scene a short time later and arrived immediately in order to assist any victims.

Injuries were confirmed to have been sustained, although the number of people injured remains unclear at this time. Furthermore, no statements have been made in regards to the extent of the injuries involved or whether or not any of the victims required transportation to a hospital.
