Cortlandt, NY (October 3, 2018) – Six people have suffered injuries following a two-vehicle accident on Bear Mountain Bridge Road at around 3:25 p.m. on Tuesday, October 2. According to New York State Police, the crash occurred between the bridge overlook and Monteverde.
Emergency crews were promptly called to the scene in order to assist the victims. Altogether, six elderly occupants were reported to have sustained injuries during the crash. All injuries were eventually classified as non-life-threatening, according to police.
Following the accident, all traffic in the area was limited down to one lane for an unspecified amount of time. No further details have been provided at this time. Police are currently investigating the events that led to this incident.
