Windsor, NY (October 2, 2018) – According to troopers, multiple people were involved in a rollover crash that took place Tuesday afternoon, October, 2, on Route 17. The crash occurred in the eastbound lanes in the vicinity of Exit 80 when a Ford Explorer overturned following the incident.
Crews had to block the eastbound lanes of Route 17 in order to clear debris away from the site, however, there was no word as to whether or not the multiple people involved had to be transported to a hospital. Minor injuries are believed to have been sustained, although there was no mention of any hospitalization.
There were several people inside the SUV but it is unknown as to whether or not there were any other vehicles involved. Police are currently conducting an active investigation into the events that led to this incident.
