Rochester, NY (October 1, 2018) – One person has been taken to the hospital with injuries following a motor vehicle accident that took place on Lyell Avenue Saturday night, September 29. The collision occurred at the intersection of Lyell Avenue and State Street at around 5:00 p.m.
According to police who arrived on the scene, the accident was a head-on collision between two vehicles. Emergency medical personnel were called to assist any victims. Upon their arrival, authorities found one person suffering injuries. That victim was immediately transported to Rochester General Hospital with wounds that were classified as minor.
There have been no names released at this time, and the events that led to the incident are currently unknown. Police are actively investigating the cause of the collision in order to determine liability.
