Mark Glen Sokoloff, Esq., counsel to Hach & Rose, LLP
NYC FELA Attorney
Mark Glen Sokoloff specializes in representing railroad workers under the Federal Employers Liability Act, as well as labor disputes, wrongful termination and employment discrimination claims.
Mr. Sokoloff has over 25 years of experience and is designated counsel to railroad unions.
Mr. Sokoloff represents clients individually and in class actions. In 1976, he, along with his now retired former partner Peter M.J. Reilly, initiated the "Agent Orange" class action on behalf of Vietnam Veterans and their families. The twelve-year pursuit of his client's cause of action contributed to a class action settlement. He is often sought out by unions for his expertise in union organization and labor relations. He was the original designated counsel to both The First Independent Carman's Union and the Independent Railway Supervisors. The latter remains one of only two independent unions on L.I.R.R. property. Mr. Sokoloff's knowledge of and extensive experience in railroad procedures has resulted in major injury awards and settlements against both metro North and L.I.R.R.
